Lab Results

Prior to releasing any finished product, all formulations/batches are tested by an independent, third party laboratory. At a minimum, we test for:

– Potency (How STRONG it is)

– Pesticides and Microbials (How CLEAN it is)

– Residual Solvents and Heavy Metals (How PURE it is)

The results from these tests are then compiled and a Certificate of Analysis is issued from the testing facility certifying the results. 

Prior to beginning any product development, we submit our hemp extracts (oils and isolates) to an independent, third party lab for the following tests: Potency, pesticides, microbials, residual solvents, and heavy metals. We do this to ensure the hemp extracts we’re using meet our exacting standards.

Once we begin development, testing is again performed at every transition stage in the manufacturing process using our own in-house High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analytical testing equipment to ensure products are formulated to the proper specifications before being submitted for final testing, once again, with an independent, third party lab.

Independent test results are made available for EVERY batch of EVERY product, but unless you have a science background, these can be difficult to interpret. To make the test results more user-friendly, we’ve created a ‘CONSOLIDATED TEST RESULTS SUMMARY,’ to highlight the important information.

The AHP was developed in collaboration with numerous researchers at the University of Mississippi (UMiss) under the guidance of Dr. Mahmoud ElSohly, professor of pharmaceutics and one of this country’s foremost cannabis experts. The AHP represents the most comprehensive and critically reviewed body of information on cannabis and herbal medicines in the English language, and will serve as a primary reference for academicians, health care providers, manufacturers, and regulators.
